This is an amazing animal. Castanero is the 1998 ALSA Meduim Wool Male National Champion Over All Meduim Wool Male. He was not showed in 1999 and then came back in 2000 where he was National Champion Adult Medium Wool Male and was also part of the El Fuerte Get of Sire Championship. This male has natural presence like no other breeding male I have seen. As he has gotten older he has become a very heavy wooled animal but has maintained his soft fine fiber. Castanero has produced some knock out cria this past year and we are waiting to see what this next crop will bring.
